The brooch shines in the materials typical of the Art Deco period of luxurious platinum, a precious natural emerald and a multitude of white diamonds. The jewel presents itself as a rectangle, a classic brooch shape of the era. Its openwork center field presents the stunningly beautiful emerald in a classic step cut. The 3.10 ct stone originates from Colombia, as determined by two certificates. Colombia has always been the most sought-after source of fine emeralds. Its colour is intense and the stone inspires with its particularly high purity. It is a so-called "minor oil emerald"; the treatment usual for emeralds is limited to a minimum here. A total of 3.77 ct diamonds accompany the emerald. This results in a shimmering play of light reflections.
