This precious vintage bracelet presents us with a play of light and dark contrasts: seven midnight blue sapphires alternate with radiant white diamonds to form a precious round dance. All gemstones shine in high-carat white gold and are of exquisite quality. The piece of jewellery that we discovered here in Berlin is a typical representative of the white jewels that were fashionable in the 1970s. The heavy, yellow-gold splendour of the jewellery that the post-war generation appreciated so much, with its often expansive surfaces and voluminous shapes, was now considered unfashionable and old-fashioned. Visually lighter pieces of jewellery were in demand, which were easier to wear and elegant without being overloaded. This bangle achieves this particularly well. Its shape makes it very uncomplicated to wear, as it is solidly crafted and not too wide or high, it features the easily combinable colours white and blue and offers unadorned, almost casual elegance. This makes the bracelet an all-round talent even today - whether for everyday wear or with a festive evening dress. The bracelet has survived flawlessly in its case from the renowned Munich jeweller Hemmerle. An independent expert opinion has recorded the quality of the gemstones and is included with the bracelet.
