M. Fahim (XX) - Personnages enlacés

Description Original work by Mr. Fahim, created in 1974 in mixed technique on paper, measuring 27 × 19 cm. The composition represents two entwined characters, treated in a free and expressive graphic handwriting. The silhouettes are built from fine and spontaneous lines, associated with flat color areas and highlights applied lightly. The palette, dominated by pinks, reds, yellows and blues, gives the scene a soft and intimate atmosphere. The bodies seem to merge in the embrace, the artist prioritizing the expression of movement and feeling over a realistic anatomical representation. The work is part of modern figuration with an expressionist tendency, characteristic of the graphic research of the second half of the 20th century. The drawing is signed “M. Fahim” and dated 1974 at the bottom left. There is also nearby a handwritten inscription in Arabic script, clearly visible on the work. Artist: M.
