Macallan The Archival Series Folio 6 - 70cl

The Macallan "Folio 6 – The Chairman," the sixth instalment in The Archival Series launched by Macallan in 2015. This 24-chapter series revisits the distillery's iconic press advertisements published in The Times between the 1970s and 1990s. Folio 6 pays tribute to Macallan's former chairman, Allan Shiach, depicted dancing the Highland Fling over a crossed pen and paintbrush — a nod to the creative duo Holmes & Salaman, with whom he enjoyed sparring over ad campaigns. Released in late 2020 as a limited edition (allocated via ballot, with an estimated run of around 3,000 bottles), Folio 6 carries no age statement or vintage.
