This image shows a full-volume statuette of the Italian sculptor Sergio Verginelli, known for his plastic creations with strong dynamism. The female figure is depicted with a strong sense of movement impressed on the drapery and the hairstyle, elements typical of the artist's artistic language, which combines traditional plastic canons with vibrant expressive tensions. The artist Sergio Verginelli was born in Rome on May 4, 1941. After several artistic experiences, Sergio Verginelli arrived at sculpture, starting with a classical verism that he later abandoned, arriving at his own style that elevates formal lyricism through his personal research. In his creations he gives form to images, developing them and grounding them in a harmonious composition that gives them a strong sense of freedom. He is an artist of great sensitivity and plastic quality, and his modeling is always rich in a surprising vein of invention. His long career and presence with solo and joint exhibitions throughout Europe project him among the major Italian sculptors of our time. The works are handmade in Italy and stand out for the particularity of the modeling, for the exclusive chiaroscuro effects and for the quality of the materials used. An harmonious synthesis of originality, refinement and creative flair makes each work unique in its kind, greatly appreciated by all art lovers, by quality and by an increasingly wide and heterogeneous international audience. Laminated silver is a material consisting of a base metal less precious (such as copper, brass, bronze or aluminum) coated with a layer of pure silver with a fineness of 800‰ or 925‰. Being an antique object, a genuine vintage piece, it may show slight signs of time, entirely normal and characteristic of its history. Product deliveries are entrusted only to top couriers such as UPS, DHL and BRT, with guaranteed and insured delivery. The price lists are publicly online. NOTE** Objects auctioned on Catawiki are subject to binding conditions for each bid. If a buyer does not make payment within three days of the end of the auction (or immediately via 'Buy Now'), Catawiki may take action on their account. Specifically, it may suspend the ability to bid and purchase until payments due are settled. Moreover, non-payment may lead to cancellation of the sale; in some cases, the buyer may still have to pay the Buyer Protection fee. Until the suspension of the Buyer Account. Please note that, if a buyer wins multiple lots, they will be required to pay the shipping for each lot separately to ensure the integrity of the materials sent.
