Important essay by Kurt Schwitters, “Dadaismus in Holland,” and an essay by Van Doesburg. Superb typography. Reproductions of drawings by Hannah Höch, Francis Picabia, and Kurt Schwitters. Schwitters, a German painter, sculptor, and poet, and one of the leading figures of the Dada movement in Hanover, published under the name Kurt Merz. In parallel with Dada, he founded the Merz movement and its Dadaist journal *Merz*, each issue of which is themed. Very fine copy. A copy in exceptionally fresh condition, of the utmost rarity.
