Magic Castle - Tooverkasteel - Château Magique - Oude...

An old animated cookie tin 'Magic Castle - Tooverkasteel - Château Magique', issued by De Beukelaer between 1900 and 1910. In tin. Height: 16.5 cm. If you turn it at the bottom, four different pictures appear and the castle opening, of course, for the cookies. The drawings strongly resemble the (later) juvenile works of Willy Vandersteen (Poppy and Maggy, Tor, Simbat the Pirate, ...). Tin is in good condition, see photos; they are part of the description.

Estimate:£7.62
