Magnificent mask - true - DR Congo (No reserve price)

Despite its appearance, this Bateke/Tsaye mask shows no signs of age or use and was probably made to be sold. The custom stand is included. These flat, round, and abstract masks are adorned with symbols of Tsaye beliefs. Used in the Kidumu rituals, the men's association, the masks express their social and religious values.
