I/C, Lincoln National Bank of Bath, Maine; 1866, Northfield National Bank, Vermont; 1873, First National Bank of Biddeford, Maine; Thomaston, Maine. 1865 & 1887, Thomaston National Bank, Maine, I/C; 1870, Burlington, VT., First National Bank of Burlington, I/U, XF; 1884, Orono National Bank, Maine; 1865, First National Bank of Skowhegan, Maine, I/C; 1860, Hallowell, Maine, American Bank, I/U VF; and, Waltham National Bank, Massachusetts, Certificates feature engraved vignettes with eagles, allegorical figures, agricultural scenes, and classical architecture. Several examples show endorsements, revenue stamps, embossed or inked seals, and period signatures. Conditions range from VG to XF overall, with expected folds, toning, edge wear, and handling consistent with age. (10).
