The 1947 Maino Superlusso is a vintage bicycle of particular collectible interest, belonging to the high-end production of the Maino brand, a historic Piedmontese builder known especially for road bicycles and models aimed at a wealthy and discerning clientele. The Superlusso model is the period’s flagship; it stands out for its construction quality and certain finishing details that place it in the upper tier of Maino’s postwar production. Fork and frame with invisible joints, braking system with fully internal rigid transmissions, horn-shaped grips and small horn grips, curled-spring saddle, fenders with a nickel-edged profile, tubular chain guard with rear inspection hatch. A bicycle of historical interest and economically in the high-end range. The buyer can choose the original saddle visible in the photos or the curled-spring one mounted. If shipping, the bike will be carefully packed in appropriate cardboard boxes without removing the handlebar, since the steering tube houses the brake rods, making reassembly easy.
