▐ Collection of Pens Dedicated to Cicero Maita is proud to present a unique, limited collection of high-quality pens, designed to celebrate the intellectual and moral legacy of one of history's greatest philosophers: Cicero. This exclusive series comprises only 199 pieces, making each pen a true collectible, a symbol of culture and refinement. The pens are made from precious Italian Porpora resin, a choice that is not casual: the color is traditionally associated with nobility, power, and authority, reflecting his role as a statesman and prominent orator in ancient Rome. The Italian resin also guarantees excellent quality, with an elegant and durable finish. The pen design is enhanced with details that highlight its symbolic and philosophical value: - The pen clip reproduces one of the universal symbols of philosophy, a direct reference to wisdom and critical thinking that have endured through the centuries. - On the body of the pen, a metal ring is finely engraved with Cicero's profile on the front, a visual homage to the philosopher himself. On the back of the ring, his famous motto is inscribed: “History is the teacher of life,” underscoring how knowledge of the past is essential to understand the present and guide future actions. - Set atop the cap, a small coin depicts an owl, an ancient symbol of philosophy and wisdom, recognized as such by Hegel in the nineteenth century. This detail gives the pen an additional touch of cultural and historical depth. This collection is not just a writing instrument, but a true tribute to philosophy and its timeless teachings. ▐ Characteristics and technical details □ Fountain pen □ Limited Edition of 199 pieces □ Manufacturer: Maita □ Country of origin: Italy □ Materials: Italian resin and silver ▐ Dimensions □ Pen length: 129.5 mm □ Length with cap posted: 173.5 mm □ Length with cap (closed): 142.5 mm □ Diameter: 14 mm ▐ Filling and Nib □ Filling: converter and/or cartridge □ Nib material: stainless steel □ Nib size: medium (M)* *a request can be accommodated for an Extrafine, Fine, or Broad nib. ▐ Condition □ New pen, with elegant packaging and warranty certificate ▐ Shipping □ Express courier ▐ INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY □ All Maita writing instruments are covered by a 3-year warranty against all material and manufacturing defects.
