The Tricolore is the symbol of Italy in the world and embodies national pride: the Red symbolizes blood, the suffering of all those who pursued the dream of freedom and fought for Italy’s unification; the White represents the Catholic faith of Italians and symbolizes the Alpine glaciers; the Green is the hope of a free and united Italy, the desire of many Italians who lost their lives pursuing this deep value, and it is the green of the Mediterranean scrub, the landscape typical of our country. On the barrel of the pen and on the cap ring are depicted Italy and the three capitals that have followed each other over the years are highlighted by precious stones.
