Massive Congo Malachite Egg with its Base – 2.936 kg – (15 x 10.5 cm) Description: Magnificent and impressive egg made of natural polished malachite from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Katanga). A major, high-end collector's piece weighing nearly 3 kilograms. The egg displays an incredible variety of mineral formations on its faces: two concentric eyes (orbs) perfect and very clear, circular drapery and fibrous zones with a velvet-like depth. Some matte inclusions and natural micro-cavities are visible, bearing witness to the stone's raw authenticity.
