Mangani Firenze - Desk lamp (2) - 21048 - Gilt brass

A spectacular and highly decorative pair of identical vintage Italian table lamps, produced by the prestigious porcelain atelier Mangani Firenze during the 1970s.Each lamp features an elegant, baluster-shaped porcelain body, exquisitely adorned with hand-painted floral motifs in a classic combination of deep blue and brilliant gold tones. The porcelain elements are mounted onto beautifully detailed, neoclassical openwork bases made of gilt metal, adding a luxurious Italian touch to the overall design. The lamps are complemented by matching semi-circular dome shades crafted from premium light-grey textile. The shades are tastefully finished with a golden decorative border ribbon and cream-colored hanging fringe tassels, creating a beautiful warm glow when lit.The style perfectly embodies the Hollywood Regency and Italian Neo-Baroque aesthetics of the 1970s, making this pair an impressive statement choice for high-end sideboards, console tables, or luxury bedroom nightstands. Both items have been fully tested, are in excellent vintage working order, and show only minor, age-appropriate signs of careful use.Markings on the underside include the original gold foil "Made in Italy" labels, the handwritten cursive script "Modèle et décoration exclusive à la main," and the factory model code 21048.Dimensions of one lamp:Total Height: 69 cmLamp Body Height: 33 cmStem/Base Height: 40 cmLampshade Height: 35 cmShade Diameter: 36 cmBase Diameter: 16 cmTechnical details:Brand/Producer: Mangani Firenze / ItalyEstimated Period: 1970–1979Materials: Fine porcelain, gilded metal, and structured fabricMain Colors: White, Cobalt Blue, Bright Gold, and Soft GreyPackage content: Matching set of 2 lampsEuropean plugs and wiring, tested & functionalWeight of one lamp: 2.96 kgTotal net weight of the set: 5.70 kg
