Ca. late 19th - early 20th century AD. > A carved wooden stool of circular form with a flat, slightly concave seat, supported on a sculptural, faceted central column and a broad, stepped base. The rim of the seat is decorated with alternating panels of cross-hatched and linear carving, while the central support is articulated with radiating, diagonally incised facets.
