Add a touch of rare elegance and strategy to your study or living room! We are auctioning a magnificent set of chess pieces, the "Nobilis", handcrafted in artisanal Italian manufacture from the second half of the 20th century. A unique piece that blends a passion for the game of strategy with the prestige of a true decorative art object. The pieces, made of solid metal with a high-relief finish and a refined two-tone patina (polished silver and bronze-burnished), are inspired by Renaissance Italian architecture and design. Each individual piece features detailed chasing, with a solid weight to the touch that guarantees a pleasant and exclusive playing sensation. The chessboard also doubles as a chess case: the playing surface slides gracefully to reveal a refined interior shaped and lined in luxurious red velvet, designed to protect and house each piece individually. The borders of the chessboard feature elegant engravings and decorative motifs in Florentine-style impression work. Why you shouldn’t miss it? Perfect both as a statement piece for classy interiors and for enthusiasts and collectors of antique chess. Carefully preserved, it bears its fascinating and authentic patina of time that enhances its history. Complete set and ready to use: 32 intact pieces and original case perfectly functional. An unmissable opportunity to own a timeless classic of Italian artisanal design. Chessboard dimensions: 28x28x3 cm
