Manifattura di Laveno - Da "Antico Doccia" - Table...

Elegant 6-place tableware set produced by the historic Società Ceramica Italiana di Laveno, one of the most prestigious Italian porcelain and ceramics manufacturers of the twentieth century, which in the sixties merged into the Richard Ginori group. This service in particular was made around the time of the merger between the two great leaders of Italian ceramics, as proof of the model that closely hones in on the famous "Antico Doccia" by Richard Ginori. The Antico Doccia form defines the deepest essence, identifying the Richard Ginori manufactory in the world as a Maison of excellence in pure porcelain and design. Curved lines and a profile inspired by late Baroque Florentine silversmithing make Antico Doccia a timeless collection. This service is produced by the Manifattura di Laveno with the same characteristics as Richard Ginori's Antico Doccia model, but in cream-colored porcelain. Moreover, each piece is embellished with a delicate gold filet that runs along the edge profile of the plates. The design, free of figurative decorations and characterized by the purity of its shapes, lends itself especially well to a classic, elegant, and contemporary table where the quality of the porcelain and the edge finishing become the distinctive elements. The set consists of 6 flat plates of 25 cm in diameter. Excellent overall condition.
