All auctions / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Manifattura Italiana - Stool - curved multilayer - Chair, seat
Beautiful stool, chair, seat produced in Italy in the 1960s-70s. Vintage object of great quality, composed of a frame entirely in curved plywood with a padded seat covered in white fabric. It must have been produced by some well-known company but unfortunately I couldn’t find references. The structure was obtained by bending a single axis of plywood. Esthetically well preserved in vintage condition, it is not new but used, with the normal signs of time, see photos. Ready to use. Immerse yourself in the sophisticated charm of authorial design with this extraordinary curved stool, an iconic piece that encapsulates the boldness of the Space Age era and the craftsmanship of high Italian cabinetmaking. Details that Move Sculptural Lines: The curved plywood frame wraps around space in a single continuous flow, alternating voids and solids that catch the light from every angle. Warmth and Matter: The wood finish in warm, elegant tones highlights the natural grain, creating a perfect contrast with the cutting-edge lines. Iconic Comfort: The padded seat, soft and minimalist, provides a welcoming resting place without compromising the formal rigor of the whole. This piece is not just a seat, but a true sculpture to live with. Placed in a contemporary living room, in a refined studio, or beside a designer dining table, it immediately becomes the focal point of the space, dialoguing with the surrounding architecture and telling a story of style, research, and timeless beauty. A rare opportunity for collectors and lovers of great design to add a distinctive character touch to their home. Dimensions: 48 (H) x 51 x 38 cm. Plywood thickness: 15 mm. Quality, luxury, prestige, and wonder. A beautiful object suitable for furnishing every kind of space with taste, true Made in Italy of the era; the only limit is imagination. # reguitti # poltronova # cassina # foppapedretti # bernini # hauner # parisi # ponti # frattini
