Mansfield School, late 16th century, attributed to the workshop of Matthieu DIONISE (sculptor active between 1581 and 1613) Virgin and Child Terracotta statue Beige clay with a slight pinkish tinge, composed of two pieces joined at the waist, an almond-shaped vent hole on the reverse, stepped base, minute traces of polychromy, and evidence of glaze runs.
