Mara. J XL - Peridot Grove

From a dark, deep background emerges a blotch of green leaves, sharp and overlapping, held up by slender stems with purplish reflections. Among the foliage, small touches of pink and reddish brown surface, like sap surfacing. As it rises, the green lightens and blends with yellow-gold and sandy leaves, until an opening filled with light. The surface is built for successive, dense, granular impressions, giving depth to each layer. The movement is entirely upward, from the quiet of the undergrowth to the brightness of the canopy. A fresh and vital work that breathes spring. Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right Image size: 90 x 70 cm Overall canvas size: 100 x 80 cm The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid, suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
