Mara. J XL - Sunstone Canopy

From the blue night of the bottom, a dense vegetation of leaves rises, pressed one against the other in granular layers. At the bottom the leaves glow with rust and bright orange, crossed by slender stems that rise toward the light. Higher up the color opens to peach, apricot, and pale gold, and among the leaves small azure-green gaps appear. The material is dense, built for accumulation, and it captures light in every relief. The transition from darkness to brightness is gradual, like a morning slowly arriving inside the forest. A warm and quiet sensation remains. Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right Image dimensions: 90 x 70 cm Overall canvas size: 100 x 80 cm The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid, suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to dive into a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue."
