All auctions / Contemporary Art / Mara. J XXL - Emerald Thicket
An emerald-green, full and vivid surface fills the entire area, dense with overlapping leaves that chase each other in every direction. Among them, light pink and lilac imprints emerge, arranged in gentle vertical trajectories, like leaves lit by a reflection of light. Small yellow dots shine here and there, scattered sparks in the green. Downward, the color becomes deeper and more gathered, and thin violet stems rise from the shadow toward the lighter area. The material, granular and layered, gives the foliage an almost tangible presence. A fresh and vital work, returning the luminous quiet of the undergrowth in midsummer. Signed and dated 2026 in the bottom right Image size: 150 x 55 cm Total canvas size: 160 x 65 cm The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled and shipped in a cardboard tube. The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively on request, in digital format. Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid and suspended atmospheres, where color and brightness shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a vehicle for emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to dive into a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
