Mara Solène (1982) - Il fascino dell’anonimato

Oil painting on canvas for collection, large size. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Mara Solène and with gallery stamp. Title: The Charm of Anonymity Dimensions: 70x55 cm Year: 2026 Mara Solène (born 1982) is a painter who works mainly with oil painting. Her research explores the human figure as a space of relation between identity, presence, and perception. Her works feature figures suspended between reality and imagination, with simplified forms and faces that move away from realistic portraiture to become expressive tools. At the center of her work is the relationship between the figures: the gaze, the distance, and the silent tension built in the painting’s space. Her practice moves between figuration and distortion, in a concise inquiry where identity remains open and in constant transformation. NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of oil colors coming to life on the canvas. Worldwide shipping via UPS courier.
