Mara Solène (1982) - Il sole negli occhiali

Oil painting on canvas from a collection, large in size. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Mara Solène and bearing the Gallery stamp. Title: The Sun in the Glasses Dimensions: 70x55 cm Year: 2025 Mara Solène (born 1982) is a painter who mainly works with oil painting. Her research explores the human figure as a space of relation between identity, presence, and perception. Her works feature figures suspended between reality and imagination, with simplified shapes and faces that move away from realistic portraiture to become expressive tools. At the center of her work is the relationship between figures: the gaze, the distance, and the silent tension that is built in the painting’s space. Her practice moves between figuration and distortion, in an essential exploration where identity remains open and in continual transformation. NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipments. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas. Worldwide shipping via UPS courier.
