Marantz - PM 6004 Solid state integrated amplifier

The Marantz PM6004 is a much-praised, audiophile integrated amplifier known for its excellent control, musicality and transparency. In contrast to its predecessors, this model uses only discrete components in both the input and output stages, rather than IC circuits. Along with a shielded toroidal transformer, this yields a very detailed and warm sound reproduction. The amplifier features a high-quality MM phono stage and dual speaker terminals (A/B), making it ideal for bi-wiring. Specifications • Power Output: 45 Watts 8 Ohm/ 60 Watts • Amplifier Class: Class AB with Current Feedback circuitry • Frequency Response: 10 Hz to 70 kHz • Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 0.08% (0.07% at rated power) • Damping Factor: 100 • Signal to Noise Ratio: 83dB (MM), 102dB (line) The Marantz works absolutely superbly.
