Each face has a different personality, but the three share the same pictorial language based on simplified shapes, precise lines, and flat color surfaces. The composition combines vibrant oranges, luminous yellows, deep black, and warm whites, alongside delicate violet tones and small blue accents. These contrasts create a sense of energy and balance, giving the works a contemporary, lively character. The gazes and small gestures are the protagonists. Open eyes, a closed eyelid, or a slight tilt of the head are enough to suggest emotions and evoke different interpretations. I am interested in finding beauty in simplicity, reducing elements to the essentials, and allowing each figure to convey its own story. The three paintings are conceived to dialogue with each other, forming a visually harmonious set, though each retains its own identity. Style and technique The works are made in acrylic on canvas, within a contemporary neocubist language with influences from geometric art and the hard-edge style. The combination of black lines, soft curves, and large color planes provides clarity, rhythm, and balance to the compositions. Through this project I explore the infinite possibilities of representing the human face through fragmentation, geometry, and color. My intention is to create a universe of faces in which each work has its own personality, maintaining a recognizable artistic language that is evolving.
