Marcello Giorgio - Vase - Crystal, Silver

Splendid vase with a flower arrangement, of high Italian artistic craftsmanship, designed and made by the renowned silversmith Marcello Giorgio. The piece stands out for the impeccable material pairing between the brilliance of the precious heavy crystal (with a strong structural thickness that brings the total weight to almost 2.5 kg, ensuring absolute stability) and the preciousness of the metal. The external glass surface is decorated with large stylized floral elements made up of 925 silver sheets applied in relief, finished with satin‑engraved markings reproducing slender stems and leaves that rise gracefully upward. As clearly highlighted in the macro photographs, the metal parts are strictly authenticated by the double Italian hallmarks: 1. The factory mark "★ 130 MC", identifying the goldsmithing workshop located in the province of Macerata. 2. The oval mark "925", which guarantees the quality and purity of the sterling silver used for the decorative sheets. On the bottom of the object the original warranty sticker from the manufacture "Marcello Giorgio - Made in Italy" is also perfectly preserved. A refined and elegant collectible piece, an excellent testament to Italian art objects suitable for both classic settings and modern design environments. • Dimensions: Top diameter 16 cm / Base diameter 9 cm Excellent overall condition. The crystal is fully intact, free of chips or filigree. The silver sheets are well seated and in excellent condition.
