Marchal Josiane (1956) - Atelier Château de Bourglinster

Josiane Marschal (1956) – Four-part Polyptychon “Atelier de Bourglinster” – Mixed Media on 3D canvas (4x) Description: For sale is a fascinating four-part artwork (polyptych) by the well-known Luxembourgian artist Josiane Marschal (*1956). The works are defined by Marschal's characteristic, highly textured mixed-media style. Through the impasto application of color and relief-like structures, a deep, tactile surface emerges. The minimalist color palette of earthy tones, gray-blue, and a striking geometric red accent gives the set a modern, architectural dynamism. What is particularly noteworthy is the 3D gallery cradle frame construction (4 cm depth), which allows the pictures to project plastically on the wall without an additional frame. • Artist: Josiane Marschal (signed in black ink on the bottom right of each piece) • Provenance/Studio: Marked on the back with “Atelier Château de Bourglinster” (Luxembourg) from the year 2005 • Technique: Mixed media on canvas • Dimensions per piece: 20 x 20 x 3 cm • Overall dimensions (excluding gaps): 40 x 40 cm or 80 x 20 cm (depending on hanging configuration) • Framing: High-quality cradle frames from the art dealership Mameris (Mamer, Luxembourg) • Condition: Very well preserved, ready to hang.
