Marco Simoni - " Corythornis cristatus "

"Corythornis cristatus" belongs to the LONERS collection; these portraits capture the beauty and the extraordinary fragility of life, offering a conscious and deep visual testimony of a fauna to be preserved. Each of the depicted animals is unique in its beauty and features and tells of the courage, patience, pride, and delicate perfection of its species. The title of the photo describes a characteristic or detail. "Corythornis cristatus" is the scientific name of these kingfishers; this shot was taken in a Ugandan national park. The LONERS collection has been on display in Rome since 2020. Marco Simoni is an Italian photographer specializing in wildlife and portraiture, and his ongoing research has led him to travel around the world in the last 15 years. All the works in the collection are real photos of animals photographed in their natural environment and therefore not the product of AI. The photos are printed on Chrystal supreme lustre paper and are perfectly packaged and shipped by the best international couriers.
