Maria Cristina Sterling - Cristallerie Royales De...

Splendid crystal champagne Royales decanter, enriched by an important decoration coated in 925 silver made by Maria Cristina Sterling. The decanter features a characteristic shape with a wide body and flared bottom, a tall and slender neck. The crystal, transparent and bright, allows full appreciation of the elegant structure of the object. The external part is embellished with a refined 925 silver-coated composition inspired by the world of viticulture: a tendril surrounds the neck and the upper part of the decanter, while a rich decoration with grape clusters, leaves and tendrils adorns the body. The silverwork is particularly detailed, with finely shaped and incised leaves and clusters made up of individually worked spherical elements. The decoration gives the decanter an imposing and scenographic appearance, making it not only an elegant table object but also a refined piece for collection and display. The combination between the transparency of the crystal and the silverwork creates a striking aesthetic contrast, especially appreciable when viewing the decanter from different angles.
