All auctions / Arts & Graphics / Marie Alphonse Mucha - “Autumn, 1900”. Gesigneerd in de plaat.
Marie Alphonse Mucha. Title: “Autumn, 1900”. Signed on the plate. Authorized colored offset lithograph, produced premium matte (non-reflective) and with high color intensity. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) is one of the undisputed masters of Art Nouveau and a foundational figure in the history of decorative modern art. His instantly recognizable style, characterized by elegant female figures, flowing lines, ornamental halos, and rich botanical motifs, has become synonymous with fin-de-siècle Paris and the rise of graphic art as a collected discipline. Mucha’s works enjoy enduring international demand, with high prices for posters, lithographs and decorative panels, appealing just as much to fine-art enthusiasts, design fans and interior stylists. From a market and collecting perspective, Mucha sits alongside other highly sought-after names from modern and decorative art, such as Gustav Klimt, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Egon Schiele and Aubrey Beardsley, while he also finds resonance with collectors of broader modern and contemporary icons such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Keith Haring, Banksy and Jeff Koons. His work frequently appears in searches related to Art Nouveau interiors, vintage posters, luxury décor, Belle Époque aesthetics, the history of graphic design and collectible prints. Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. The shown photographs are part of the description. If shipping costs are not automatically consolidated for multiple orders, you will always receive back the multiple shipping charges so that you only pay shipping once.
