Marine observation binoculars - « M G » Jumelles marines anciennes optique

Ancient marine binoculars of observation and measurement type, military, probably from the early 20th century, around 1910-1920, the World War I period. They bear the marking « M G », presumably corresponding to the French Ministry of War. Optics, made of solid brass and leather. Intended for navigation, they show an authentic patina reflecting use in a marine environment. The glass lenses reflect careful craftsmanship. Signs of wear as in the photos. Beautiful antique maritime instrument, highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of nautical objects and measuring instruments (compass, microscope, sextant, spyglass, magnifying glass, telescope, theodolite).
