Mario Botta (1943) - Artifici

Mario Botta – Original etching (e.g., 97/100) Signed, dated, and preserved in a presentation folder. Sheet size 46x35 cm • Plate size 23x23 cm This original etching by Mario Botta, internationally renowned architect, represents a rare and precious testimony to his design vision translated into the language of art graphics. The work, dated December 1994 and signed by the author, is titled "X Artificio" and belongs to a limited edition of 100 numbered copies (this is number 97/100). Executed with a sharp, precise, and architectural mark, the image shows a geometric and dynamic composition that recalls recognizable elements of Botta’s poetics: essential volumes, rational structures, spaces that are strongly defined. The building at the center, enclosed by lines that cross and overlap, seems to emerge as a mental construction rather than a physical one, highlighting the continuity between drawing and project, between idea and space. The work is printed with great quality on high-grade paper and kept in a presentation folder. An object intended for collectors, architects, and enthusiasts of contemporary graphic art. Shipped securely packed within 5 days of the award.
