Märklin HO - 3025 - Model train railcar (3) - Express train

An original Märklin 3025 is offered: a striking three-piece high-speed train set from the Deutsche Bundesbahn in the classic wine-red livery with silver roofs. This heavy, all-metal collector’s model was produced only for a short period, from 1958 to 1961, and is now over 65 years old. Characteristics: Manufacturer: Märklin Item number: 3025 Gauge: H0, scale 1:87 Railway company: Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) Era: III Version: three-piece high-speed train set Control: analogue Power: Märklin alternating current (AC) Material: metal housings Length: approximately 58 cm With interior lighting and front/rear signals dependent on direction of travel Complete three-piece example Operation: The train set has been tested and operates well. It runs and switches correctly for a model of this age. Condition: The train set is in an authentic, well-used collector’s condition. There are clear signs of use and aging, including scratches and loss of paint. These are most noticeable on the silver roofs, the rounded fronts, the decorative lines, and locally on the bogies. The signs of wear have been intentionally photographed clearly and are consistent with the model’s great age. This is not a restored or like-new example, but a fair and characterful Märklin train set that is still technically functional. Please examine all photos carefully; they form an integral part of the description. Shipping: The train set is packed with great care, with extra protection around the fronts, roofs, bogies, and connections. Shipping is insured and trackable.
