Marlen celebrates Boccaccio: a limited edition for a great author In 2025 marks the 650th anniversary of the death of Giovanni Boccaccio, one of the most important Italian writers, and to celebrate this anniversary, Marlen presents an exclusive collection of pens in a limited edition, a homage to the work and life of this great author. The body of the pen, made of porcelain, reproduces two iconic images: a scene from the Decameron, his most famous work, and a portrait of the author himself, making each pen a small masterpiece. Two elegant gold-plated metal rings enclose the body, creating an elegant contrast with the porcelain. The cap is made of glossy black resin, embellished with rings in red mother-of-pearl resin and gold-plated metal, a touch of luxury that recalls the refinement of the Renaissance period. The nib and the cap, which houses the piston mechanism, are made of black resin, completing the elegant design. This collection is available in a limited edition: only 400 fountain pens and 250 roller pens will be produced. Each pen is numbered, making it a unique and precious collectible.
