Marsh Bros - Thames scenery - 1875

Two albums, with mounted photos, albumen prints. Album 22x27, red, gilt on the edge 34 photos of the Thames near Henly, in one photo a blind stamp with Marsh Bros registered Henly. The last pages lack photos. The paper is blotchy, the photos at least reasonably good (one with moisture along the top edge). A few smaller imperfections on the binding. Album 29x39, black, gilt on the edge c. 95 photos from a 'grand tour', through England, Germany, France and Italy, mainly buildings and landscapes, but also a few artworks. The paper is blotchy, the photos at least reasonably good. Some pages are a bit loose, easy to glue. Ca. 1890/late 19th century. The photos form part of the description and give a realistic view of the condition.
