Building Materials Gallery value: Original stencil works by Mart Signed, not prints, are offered through European galleries with indicative prices between €3,000 and €4,000, testifying to the positioning and collecting interest reached by the artist’s work. Technique: Spray stencil and mixed media on materials recovered from the street, selected to preserve the identity and authenticity of the street art language. Dimensions: The indicated dimensions refer to the specific exemplar proposed and should be considered approximate due to the irregular shape and perimeter of the fragment. Certificate of authenticity: Included and signed by the artist. Broken Wall Broken Wall stems from Mart Signed’s exploration of the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings into homes, galleries, and private collections a fragment of the street language, transforming a surface marked by time into a contemporary artwork. The wall is not just the support for the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the breaks, the traces of time, and the natural characteristics of the material preserve the bond with the urban context from which street art arises. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is broken and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The work Every journey is marked by a final gesture. One brushstroke transforms 22 into 33, turning a common number into a symbol. An essential gesture that goes beyond the image: sacrifice, creation, hope, and memory meet in a single final mark. The work does not impose an answer, but leaves each viewer free to find their own interpretation. The stencil is made directly on the support: this is not a print or reproduction. The work pictured in the photographs is exactly what the collector will receive. Materials and authenticity Materials recovered from the street are chosen to maintain the living connection with the original language of street art. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities, and natural imperfections are not defects, but elements belonging to the history of the material and to the identity of the work. These characteristics are intentionally preserved and integrated into the creative process. The work is signed, accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity, and delivered ready to hang. The frame is not included, unless otherwise indicated for the specific exemplar. Instagram and project participation The journey of the work can continue even after purchase. Collectors can share their work on Instagram by tagging @martsigned and using the hashtag #MartSigned. Works correctly tagged may be reposted by the artist through their channels, showing the different destinations reached by the pieces and creating a direct connection between artist, collector, and the public. Periodically, special initiatives, raffles, or small street art-related gifts can also be organized through social networks. Participation is optional and independent of the purchase of the work. Any terms and conditions are communicated through the artist’s official channels. The artist Mart Signed is an Italian street artist active internationally. His works are part of private collections in numerous countries and his artistic research develops around the concept “Where Are You Street Art?”: bringing the language and material of the street into homes, galleries, private collections, and spaces traditionally distant from the urban context. Over the years, Mart Signed has developed international presence through collaborations and relationships with various realities in the art world. His research connects street art, urban memory, recovered materials, and the transformation of space. In 2023, Mart Signed also participated in a documentary about Banksy and street art culture. Shipping The work is shipped via specialized couriers managed by Mail Boxes Etc. Each piece is carefully packed, protected, and insured, with particular attention to the most delicate parts and the irregular shape of the support. Shipping includes full tracking from departure to delivery. In cases of high shipment volumes, preparation and delivery may take a few extra days. For any shipping information, you can contact the artist directly through the platform. Edition and uniqueness Broken Wall comprises a limited series of 20 unique works. Each piece is created individually and no exemplar can be identical to another. The shape of the support, the fracture, the surface, the marks, the imperfections, and the material characteristics naturally vary from piece to piece, making every piece unrepeatable. The 20 works share the same artistic project and the same conceptual core, but each maintains its own physical and visual identity. These are therefore not 20 copies or reproductions of the same work, but 20 unique and different pieces, all belonging to the Broken Wall series. Each work is identified by a specific code on the certificate of authenticity.
