A beautiful, mint-condition set of the highly regarded MartinLogan Motion Foundation B1 monitor speakers is offered. This set comes in the most sought-after and stylish color scheme: Walnut with refined Bronze trim, giving the speakers a timeless and luxurious look. Important note for buyers: This specific pair has been used exclusively as a showroom demo model and has only been played for a few hours in total. Extra value: This set is shipped with the original MartinLogan factory box and the custom-made inner foam packaging. This ensures optimal value retention and safe transport. Audiophile performance in a compact size The Motion Foundation B1 is known for delivering an impressively large and spacious soundstage. The speakers utilize the legendary thin-film technologies developed by MartinLogan themselves: • Gen2 Obsidian Folded Motion Tweeter S (FMT S): This renowned ribbon-like tweeter provides an unparalleled fast response, extreme clarity, and silky highs with no distortion. • Folded Motion Waveguide: Optimizes the dispersion of sound, minimizing reflections from walls or floors so you can enjoy a wide sweet spot anywhere in the room. • 5.5-inch (14 cm) aluminum mid-bass driver: The rigid aluminum cone delivers a crystal-clear midrange (perfect for vocals) and surprisingly tight, detailed low-end for a speaker of this size. Technical specifications: • Type: 2-way bass-reflex (rear-ported) • Frequency range: 48 Hz – 23,000 Hz (± 3 dB) • Sensitivity: 89 dB • Impedance: 5 Ohms • Recommended amplifier power: 15 – 100 Watts • Connection: Premium five-way binding posts • Dimensions (H x W x D): 34.6 cm x 18.4 cm x 24.05 cm • Weight: 5.2 kg each Cosmetic and technical condition: • Visual state: Mint condition.
