The Ekoi (or Ejagham) African mask is a unique traditional artwork from the Cross River region, straddling southeastern Nigeria and southwestern Cameroon. Very expressive mask. Material: wood, fabric, animal fur (likely goat), animal skin on top, earth, mud. Quality shipping. An exceptional piece originating from and collected in Nigeria in the 1940s by a former seasoned antiquarian.
