Fine Art print on Hahnemühle 310g baryta paper. Delivered with certificate of authenticity. Signed and numbered. Packaged in a cardboard tube shipped from France. Mathilde Oscar was born in Paris in 1980; she lives and works in Cannes. Passionate about painting, which she first practiced, she studies art history. When she discovers photography, it is to transpose her pictorial ideas strongly inspired by the great masters of painting, Romanticism and Neoclassicism. The fabrication of sets, costumes and props often adds to her creative process, but sometimes digitally. She thus develops a unique visual art blending the codes of classical painting with photography and digital manipulation. Often anachronistic and offbeat, her portraits seem lost in an unknown space-time, with multiple references to the history of Art. Awards: Gold Award, winner of Creative Photography, The Portrait Masters 2019 Silver Award, The Portrait Masters 2020 Silver Award, WPE 2019 / 2020
