Medical optical instrument - universel Oculus - 1930-1940...

An antique adjustable ophthalmic frame, sometimes called a 'glasses trial' frame, the universal Oculus model with a graduated adjustment system for corrective lenses. This professional metal frame allowed opticians to precisely adjust corrections (pupillary distance, axis, diopters) during eye examinations. High-quality technical fabrication, typical of medical optical instruments from the early 20th century. A rare and authentic item, ideal for collectors of scientific instruments, optics, or vintage industrial decor. Good overall condition with signs of use and patina from the era (see photos). Highly sought after in the realms of industrial design, scientific curiosities, antique medical technology, laboratory optics, steampunk, and rare measuring instruments. Ideal for a collector, industrial loft decoration, cabinet of curiosities, scientific display case (theodolite, microscope, sextant, compass).
