Bearbrick x Boston Museum Claude Monet "La donna giapponese" 400% 100% Bearbrick 2024 The Japanese Woman is an oil painting from 1876 by the French Impressionist painter Claude Monet. Painted on a canvas measuring 231.8 cm × 142.3 cm, the full-length portrait depicts a European woman in a red uchikake kimono standing in front of a wall decorated with Japanese fans. Monet's first wife, Camille Doncieux, served as the model for the painting. The painting was shown for the first time at the Second Impressionism Exhibition of 1876 and is now housed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
