Medieval European Bronze Ring with Ring-and-Dot Decoration – 12th to 15th Century AD A Medieval European bronze finger ring featuring a broad square bezel decorated with four punched ring-and-dot motifs arranged symmetrically across the surface. The simple geometric ornament belongs to a decorative tradition widely used on medieval personal jewellery and small metalwork. The substantial hoop and flat rectangular bezel give the ring a robust appearance, while the surface preserves extensive archaeological patina, mineral deposits and age-related wear consistent with prolonged burial.
