MEDIEVAL SILVER RING WITH AN EAGLE
Ca. AD 1200 - 1400. A silver ring with a rounded hoop expanding towards a circular bezel, the shoulders decorated with incised radiating lines and the projecting side bosses with vegetal motifs. The bezel is engraved with an eagle with its wings spread and tail feathers fanned beneath the body. Size: D:19.56mm / US: 9 3/4 / UK: T; Weight: 8.6g Provenance: London private collection.
