An extremely rare fossil tooth, attributed to the Megalosaurus genus, still embedded in the original fossil matrix. While Megalosaurus specimens are commonly referred to as British finds, the Boulemane teeth show strong similarities to those of Megalosaurus. Megalosaurus was a large dinosaur with a massive build. Its head was heavy, followed by a muscular neck and a robust body. The forelimbs were slightly shorter than the hindlimbs, but both were powerful and well developed. The limb anatomy was suited for bipedal movement and for grabbing and impaling prey. Discovered in the Jurassic deposits of Boulemane, El Mers Formation, Morocco.
