Memento Mori - Poker set - Tropical solid black wood

Secret Masonic Game Box: The lot includes black poker cards stamped in gold color, five (5) dice in tropical black hardwood hand-carved. The game chest wrapped in Masonic mystery is carved from fine black tropical solid wood and embellished with refined metal inlays on the lid with the symbols of cards and dice. Inside this secret box, on the hidden inner side of the lid, lies an imposing Masonic symbol of the triangle with the compass, expertly worked in brass with shiny vitreous stones. The internal space is carefully designed to accommodate two decks of black cards in gold and silver. Masonic Symbolism: 1. The Triangle and Compass: Depicted on the inner side of the lid, this symbol represents the pursuit of balance between spirit and matter, a core value of Masonic tradition. 2. The Cards and the Memento Mori: The black cards feature a design depicting a skeleton with a skull and a top hat. This symbol represents the "memento mori", a Masonic reminder of the transience of life and the importance of living with wisdom and awareness of one’s own time. Conditions of the piece: We proudly guarantee that the piece is in perfect condition, carefully preserved and with only slight signs of aging that enhance its unique charm.
