For sale: an exceptionally well-maintained Mercedes-Benz 320 SL from the R129 series, manufactured January 1994, with a mileage of 156,300 km. This is a accident-free German vehicle with verifiable history and a complete service booklet. The Mercedes comes with three original keys and the full on-board tool kit. BODYWORK & PAINT The body is in excellent condition with no rust, dents, or scratches. The car presents itself in its glossy original paint in elegant gray-beige metallic. No welding work has been performed on the sheet metal. The rubber seals are supple all around and in very good condition. The canvas soft top is exceptionally well preserved both visually and technically and is fully watertight. The vehicle also includes the original hardtop in the vehicle color. This has seen little use and is in nearly as-new condition. MOTOR & TECHNIQUE Under the hood, the well-known 3.2-liter inline-six M104 with four-valve technology and 240 hp works in conjunction with a comfortably shifting automatic transmission. The engine starts reliably when cold and warm, runs very quietly, and shows no oil loss. Brakes and automatic transmission function flawlessly. The vehicle is fully road-ready and has no maintenance backlog. About a year ago, the control unit, the throttle body, and the engine wiring loom/electrical harness were professionally renewed. The brake pads were renewed about two years ago. Since then, the SL has been driven only sparingly. An unused spare wheel is also included. INTERIOR The interior is in an exceptionally well-kept and well above average condition with only minimal age-related signs of wear. The seats feature the original beige-brown leather upholstery. The leather is supple and shows no significant wear. The color combination harmonizes perfectly with the gray-beige metallic paint. The main inspection (TÜV) was recently carried out and is valid until 02.04.2028.
