Ca. 3500 - 3000 BC. A recumbent marble bull, carved with the legs folded beneath the body, the head raised and turned slightly to one side. The eyes, ears, and a series of trefoil-shaped patches across the shoulders, flank, and haunches are inlaid with lapis lazuli set within recessed cavities.
