Mexico, 1868 "Hidalgos" Issue

Mexico 1868 "Hidalgos" Issue Chihuahua. 1868, "Thick Figures" 6c. Black on Brown solo usages on two pristine covers, both underpaid: Allende to Parral, with a "Servicio de la Línea" manuscript cancel, and a cover from Río Florido to Parral. The 6c. rate was intended only for printed matter or circulars, yet neither of these two covers was a circular. Apparently the stagecoach company allowed underpayments. Very rare covers. Scott 58.

Estimate:£186.92
