MEXICO. Oaxaca. 20 Centavos, 1915. NGC MS-61.

Impressive and Rare 20 Centavos in Silver MEXICO. Oaxaca. 20 Centavos, 1915. NGC MS-61. KM-728; GB-335 (this coin plated). Quite elusive as a type, as we were able to trace only one further example in a 2014 Baldwin's Auction. Given representative's RARITY, coupled with its status as the Guthery-Bothamley Plate Coin, and its lofty Mint State preservation, potential bidders should treat this example as an opportunity to fill a hole in their collections which simply does not arise with any frequency. Estimate: $5,000 - $10,000. Provenance: Ex: Merrill Bothamley Collection (Superior - 6/1976) Lot # 3439 @ $1700 hammer. Click here for certification details from NGC.

Estimate:£2,238.28
